Taking Opportunities
These last few weeks have presented a multitude of opportunities. I have been able to network like crazy with an array of people in the creative industries. Through a night out I met with a guy named Vidal that runs his own clothing company and had the wonderful chance to present my social media skills and marketing to him with now a new job offer to run the social media for another of his projects with Exotic Auto Transportation. We will fly to LA and take a months worth of content videos and photos to start this project in June.
Tomorrow I’m excited to meet up with another photographer Calipso and get in detail all the ways he has been able to grow in this industry. Hopefully we will be able to exchange a lot of helpful information, for me I hope to learn from him how to get my name out there to start and he wants to learn as much about product photography as possible, so I’m really excited to see him again. It’s crazy we met because Kael and I were strolling through the German Christmas Market and he just happened to capture a photo of us and here we are months later joining his photography group meetups as well. I wonder when the first of those will be and how it will mix socially.
Even though I thought I gave up my chance to model a long time ago with all of the tattoos and piercings, I recently signed with an agency after a photoshoot with Soul Studios last week. Although the investment in myself is terrifying I hope between the TV gigs, Photography sessions, and hopefully some modeling jobs I will be able to do these works full time and never have to work an office job again. Already I was able to land a small job with the original photographer of my photoshoot Jada, and I hope it will be a good starting place. Plus it was so much fun working with her last time I hope she has some insides for me now that I have joined the company.
The set life is a long life but it leads to opportunities you never knew were out there. Working on the set of Kingdom Business has lead me to some amazing new friends and many networking events. Even just the other day on set, Milton walked up to me and gave me a chance to represent a brand that is coming out with a new clutch. We filmed a little TikTok and got a few product photos of me holding the bag; those should be posted soon and I hope they will want me to do a few more things with their company to promote and model.
The rest of this month is now jam packed with either set days, networking events, or modeling gigs but I am thrilled to be getting deeper and deeper into this world and industry. I hope to have a business card designed soon so that anytime I am on set I can offer my services to all the future actors/actresses that need headshots done; as well as being able to have more chances to model for other entrepreneurs starting their brands and companies. I’ve also been big time pushing and reaching out to Gooseberry for a chance to model for them or work for them while I am in Bali next month. It would be a dream to represent this brand and company but it may be a long shot.
All in all everything is moving forward and I see so much potential in everything I have been doing since leaving Iroff and Son. I just released the new photos of Shayne and his portraits, and if he does get big some day in the DJ world I hope he will stick with me as a photographer in the future. While I’ve been working on set I saw a position I would love to try for as a BTS Photographer and hopefully I can get these business cards designed and back in time for me to pass them on while on the next set for a change to become a BTS photographer.
I’ll be updating you soon…..Let’s enjoy living
