Just…..start.
Today is the first official day that I stop just thinking I want to do this and I just start doing it. I have been working being the camera professionally for 3 years and have been taking photos for the last 5, and yet I never showed my work. Yes, because I worked professionally for a company for a few years my work has been put out there, but I have never represented it myself. Now I start. Here is the first true way I will be showcasing my own photography and modeling portfolios; even a little of my own writing.
Recently I have been recreating my day to day life into something that will allow me to remain more free to build the business and create I want for myself. Starting off with leaving the company I worked for since graduating college to pursue a career path that allows me to work in a hybrid or remote capacity. SmartCity Atlanta has given me this opportunity and I plan on using the extra time to build my own brand that will one day be called Maen Street. This career change is also meant to open up my time to be allow myself to enjoy more of life outside of an office. I crave change and adventure, so being in a cubicle is not the lifestyle I want to be living for the next 30+ years.
Already this major change has lead to a more fulfilling lifestyle in my eyes. Not only will i be able to attend Lollapalooza and Breakaway…. I leave for Bali with my person in less than 42 days!!! Honestly if I could; I would travel the world with Kael creating content for major brands and industries around the world. Creating this online presence is part of that task as well. Perhaps I will be able to do Creative Content Creation with Kael and start my own clothing/accessories business brand all in this lifetime. Maybe someday I will have a successful enough company and incredible workers that I can leave for a month and film content with Kael in the next country we want to visit.
Well, now you know the dream. Now it’s time to start.
